Equity Investments

The Company’s business activity is that of an Authorised Investment Trust investing in both commercial properties and securities. Investment in securities has been primarily by way of:

  1. Acquiring equity stakes in fledgling unquoted companies with a view to contributing to their development and eventually introducing these companies to the AIM or PLUS Markets. Short term funding and financial services have been provided to some of these companies as part of the overall investment. By their very nature these investments are considered to be of very high risk; and
  2. Investing in a portfolio of corporate bonds and predominately UK equities to provide both income and capital growth.
